In the bid to break the culture of silence and expose perpetrators of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), TIP continues its monthly assembly chat with students at De-Immaculate College to educate the students on SGBV, how to recognize any forms of violence, where to report cases of SGBV, and the importance of speaking up against violence.
TIP’s program officer, Eniola Tikare, had a comprehensive discussion on SGBV with the staff and students on how to assert their rights and defend themselves against all forms of inhumane treatment.
TIP will continue sensitizing people and raising awareness of sexual and gender-based violence across the state.
