In a bid to continue to partner with the Ministry of Education and Women Affairs to increase awareness of Menstrual hygiene, sexual and gender-based violence, and educational rights in Nassarawa and Rimin Gado LGA- TIP paid an advocacy visit to the Ministries to update it on the progress so far on the project in the State. It also continued discussion on the creation and collaboration between the Ministry and the Community Education Watchdog Committee (CEWC) in the project communities to improve girl child enrollment and retention and completion of school.
The Ministry’s representatives and TIP’s team discussed the project activities and other actions that could ensure more girls are enrolled and retained in schools to reduce the percentage of girls that drop out of school in Kano state.
