TIP Educates Students on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence

TIP hosted its monthly assembly chat with over 130 students from Royintola High School in Kosofe LGA, Lagos. The discussion focused on different forms of sexual and gender-based violence, including physical violence, sexual violence, and school-related gender-based violence.

The students learned how and where to report cases of sexual and gender-based violence and the importance of reaching out for psycho-social support, when necessary, for their friends and themselves.

TIP continues to receive cases of sexual and gender-based violence from some of the students it educated over the years and/or has provided psycho-social support through our referral pathway.

TIP is committed to continuing its efforts to educate children on sexual and gender-based violence to reduce the prevalence of these issues.
