With the support of the Malala Fund, The Inclusion Poject (TIP), African Centre for Leadership, Strategy and Development(CenterLSD) , Sustainable Collective Advocacy for African Development (SCAAD Initiative) Initiative, Legal Defence and Assistance Project (LEDAP), and Assist, Care and Empower charity Africa (ACE Charity Africa) commenced, the implementation of an Election Education Advocacy project in Adamawa State. The project, which is an initiative of the Education Champions Network (ECN) in Nigeria, envisions a Nigeria where all women and girls, particularly the most vulnerable, have access to 12 years of free, safe, quality education by addressing the linkages between political office aspirations with the manifesto and subsequent action after their successful election into leadership positions. The project also aims at empowering traditional and religious leaders, media, school girls, and the general public to hold the leaders accountable and ensure political aspirants include specific education asks in their agenda when elected to their various leadership positions.
