TIP has continued to offer pro bono legal services to indigent persons in correctional centers. This month TIP secured the release of Miss M. E from the female correctional Center.
The police arrested Miss M. E in 2021 on an allegation of stealing. She was in detention for over one year without trial. On the 29th of September, she regained her freedom after the Magistrate court, Epe struck out her case for lack of diligent prosecution.
