TIP Conducts a Mental Health Session for Girls at the Correctional Centers Idi -Araba, Lagos

In the pursuit of giving mental support to young girls in correctional centers, TIP conducted a mental health program at correctional centers for girls in Idi -Araba children correctional center for girls, and special correctional center for girls to raise awareness about the impact and importance of mental health in their daily lives. 

Mrs, Funmilola Adeniran, provided extensive information on mental health and showed videos to help the girls understand the significance of mental health. The interactive sessions took place in a safe space at the Center, with the girls discussing their challenges and career goals and asking questions about how they can assist friends who are depressed.
 
The session concluded with most students understanding the importance of mental health, education, and their value to society, as well as how to seek help when mentally ill.

TIP will continue to provide psycho-social support to girls in correctional centers to ensure they reach their potential.
