During an advocacy visit to Ogudu police station and Ketu police station, TIP’s program team met with key officers to discuss partnerships on pro bono programs.
Bridget Andrew, legal officer, and Eniola Tikare, program officer, met with ASP Sunday, the head of the Human rights department at Ogudu police station and the head of the Gender Unit at Ketu Station. They discussed TIP’s pro bono legal services for indigent persons and the provision of services to persons in conflict with the law without legal representation. Additionally, TIP will partner with them in supporting women with sexual and gender-based violence.
TIP continues to offer pro bono legal services to indigent and vulnerable persons in Lagos state and partners with police stations to ensure that every person arrested has access to a legal representation irrespective of the crime.
